The average new home in America is roughly 2,430 square feet.  But is that right for you? Let’s look at why building a smaller home may make sense.

People have been retreating to the Poconos for decades to enjoy the beauty and peace and quite of the region. There’s no question that the area is a popular vacation destination. But should you build a vacation home near Pocono Lake? Here are a few reasons that a vacation home just might make sense.

I’ve mentioned before that as of March, the Kalahari Resorts and Conventions in Pocono Manor would be the largest indoor water park in the United States. Kalahari always has something going on for the whole family with exciting daily activities that include contests, coloring, interactive games, crafts, free cookie decorating, and so much more. But the Poconos Kalahari Resort has always been about much more than just fun for the kids. They take care of the kids’ parents, too!

While the entire Poconos Mountain region is overflowing with natural beauty, there are special places within the area that seem to embody its character. The community of Arrowhead Lake, nestled within the beauty of the northeastern part of Pennsylvania, is one of those places.
